I am Erica and I am a Southern California/San Diego Wedding, Portrait and Boudoir Photographer. I love capturing people in LOVE : from the engaged and newlyweds to babies and families. I love creating images that capture emotion, excitement and the joy of life. My favorite images are those of people laughing. I love nature and am particularly drawn to creating images in nature… with a natural feel and using natural light.
I began doing boudoir photography for my lovely brides, clients and friends several years ago, and have since fallen in love with this type of photography. I treasure the ability to capture the beauty of a woman- the natural, sometimes simple, captivating beauty of a woman. I’ve combined this with my passion for the outdoors, and Captivating Boudoir has become the leading outdoor boudoir photography studio in San Diego.
I am an active member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and Professional Photographers of America. I was also selected to receive Wedding Wire’s 2010 and 2011 Bride’s Choice Award for wedding photography, and have been featured on popular wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, The Wedding Chicks, The Knotty Bride, Sitting in A Tree, Cake and Pictures and Emmaline Bride.
